Dry Brush Technique

The dry brush technique is one of the most interesting of nail art techniques out there. It involves wiping all the excess polish off the brush – and then gently painting your nails as you usually would. This gives the effect of sparse strokes. The most common way this technique is used is for denim nails: using blues and white to imitate rips and the rough texture of denim. I don’t really know where I was going with this one, I just picked out colors I thought looked nice together, orange and blue. I like the dry brush style and would do it again with lighter colors against a white background to get a sort of watercolor feel.
